Hospitality / editorial concept

Calierra — Editorial

An editorial hospitality concept using bold typography, architectural imagery and a clear collection browsing experience.

Design concept. Property imagery and collection listings are illustrative; the website is not a live booking service.

The task

A clear problem
to solve.

Explore a more expressive hospitality identity without making the stay collection hard to use. The design needs a distinctive first impression and straightforward navigation after it.

My work: website concept design and frontend implementation. This case focuses on the site structure and presentation shown here.

The approach

From the idea
to the interface.

01

Create an editorial opening

Large typography, a full-width architectural image and an oversized wordmark establish a different direction from the Organic and Retreat concepts.

02

Balance expression with structure

The main navigation leads to the story, stays, owner information, local guide, FAQs and contact. A static card collection keeps browsing straightforward.

03

Make the direction reviewable

HTML, CSS and JavaScript form the implementation, with Vite for the build. The concept can be compared with the other two Calierra directions before choosing a final design.

The deliverable

What the build
brings together.

A JavaScript hospitality concept with a distinct editorial identity, supporting pages and a filterable collection.

Concept estimate: 1 day. CMS and agreed SEO setup can take 1–2 weeks. Booking and channel integrations are additional work.
